Hon. Jorge Rodriguez-Chomat
The Hon. Jorge Rodriguez-Chomat is an attorney with the law firm of Jorge Rodriguez-Chomat & Associates, P.A. where he is also a Certified Public Accountant. He is licensed to practice law in Florida, the District of Columbia and the state of New York. Rep. Rodriguez-Chomat served in the Florida House of Representatives from 1994-1998 where he was Chairman of the Florida Joint Legislative Auditing Committee. 

He has been active in the community for many years and is a member of the Miami Beach Convention Center Construction Committee, the Miami Beach Police Citizens Advisory Committee, a Director at the Miami Beach Latin Chamber of Commerce and Vice-President of the Four Ambassadors Condominium Association. 
Rep. Rodriguez-Chomat was appointed to the Citizens’ Independent Transportation Trust in 2005 from Commission District 5.  He sought a seat on the CITT to represent the interest of the people of Miami-Dade County to make sure that surtax funds are properly spent for improvement of the public transportation system.
