Miles Moss
Mr. Miles Moss is president of Miles Moss & Associates, Inc., an engineering consultant firm specializing in forensic engineering, analyzing and reconstructing traffic accidents and coordinating traffic engineering and traffic impact studies.  He is a Transportation Engineer with over thirty-three years of professional managerial experience in Miami-Dade County in the fields of traffic engineering and traffic operations studies.  Prior to opening his own firm, Moss was vice-president of traffic engineering for Mid South Engineering Company.  Additionally, he possesses eleven years experience working with Dade County’s Department of Traffic & Transportation, where he was responsible for coordinating solutions to traffic operations and safety problems, with a special emphasis on the elementary school routes, in the county.

Mr. Moss holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Miami.  In addition, he has specialized training in traffic engineering from various institutions such as the Georgia Institute of Technology and Northwestern University.  Mr. Moss is fully accredited as a Traffic Accident Reconstructionist, is a Fellow in the Florida and National Institute of Transportation Engineers, and is a member of ITE Consultants Council and Expert Witness Council, the Florida Engineering Society and the National Academy of Forensic Engineers, among other professional organizations.  Mr. Moss is currently the Chairperson of the CITT.
