    The Hon. James A. Reeder
    James A. ReederThe Hon. James A. Reeder is a retired public servant of the Miami-Dade community; he is a former mayor and commissioner of the Village of Biscayne Park. He has served on the Miami-Dade County Revenue Sharing, Solid Waste, Building Code and Product Review Committees. In addition, he has served as a member of the Board of Directors and as first vice-president of the Dade County League of Cities.

    He is a state certified Building Code Administrator with extensive experience in reviewing plans for compliance with master plans, zoning and building. In addition, he currently possesses real estate, general contractor and mechanical licenses, as well as FEMA certification as Flood Plain Manager. A Vietnam Veteran, he served with the United States Navy where he received extensive transportation management training.
