The Task Force was created on December 14, 2004 with the passage of Resolution R-1490-04. The role of the Task Force is to:

Develop criteria for identifying efficient and effective structures of local governments in this country;

Review procurement matters that have been presented to the Committee over the past several years;

Conduct public hearings for the purpose of obtaining community input on these matters; and
-
Prepare a written report summarizing the Task Force’s findings and the opinions of constituents shared during the public hearing process.
