Pakistan Ambassador to the U.S. receives key to the County


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 
Pakistan ambassador photoCommission Chairman Bruno A. Barreiro and the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners present Mahmud Ali Durrani, the Pakistan Ambassador to the U.S., with the key to the County during the Commission meeting in County Hall on Thursday, May 10, 2007.  Ambassador Durrani, who is visiting the Sunshine State on a familiarization tour, invited the Commissioners to visit Pakistan to share their experience implementing democratic principles.  Pakistan is a trade partner with Miami-Dade with a trade value of $67 million.  Pictured from left to right are commissioners Sally A.
