Artists Are Invited To Participate In Art Exhibit By Miami-Dade Sister Cities Program And Miami Dade College |

The deadline for submitting entries is July 21st, 2008. For a copy of the entry form and complete information please go to: www.miamidade.gov/itc or contact Mayda Rescendi at 305-375-5280. The art exhibit and sale will be composed of works by artists representing those countries which have Sister Cities affiliations with Miami-Dade County, as well as works of art that reflect the Mission of Sister Cities International which is to promote peace, mutual respect, understanding and cooperation. This international exhibit will be open to the public. The opening reception, which last year drew more than two hundred fifty art enthusiasts and community leaders, will once again celebrate the artistic diversity of Miami-Dade County. In conjunction with the event, a souvenir catalogue will be distributed. Net proceeds from the exhibit will benefit the Miami-Dade County Sister Cities Program.
