Sister Cities Annual Art Exhibit Scheduled September 23rd to October 7th, 2008

The Sister Cities annual art exhibit is scheduled for September 23rd to October 7th, 2008. The theme for this year's event is "Celebrating Our Diversity" The following dates highlight the events taking place throughout the art exhibit:

August 28th: Meet the Artists Reception (location TBA)

September 23rd: Opening Night at the Tower Theatre

September 26th: Cultural Friday at the Tower Theatre

October 7th: Closing Night at the Tower Theatre

The art exhibit and sale will be composed of works by artists representing those countries which have Sister Cities affiliations with Miami-Dade County, as well as works of art that reflect the mission of Sister Cities International which is to promote peace, mutual respect, understanding and cooperation. Net proceeds from the exhibit will benefit the Miami Dade County Sister Cities Program. The Tower Theatre is located at 1508 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL.
