Americans with Disabilities Act Coordination
The purpose of the Office of ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Coordination is to bring Miami-Dade County into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and, at the same time, heighten awareness of disability issues – both within County departments and within the community – in order to help provide persons with disabilities the opportunity to fulfill their greatest potential for independence and achievement.

County ADA Coordinators are reponsible for coordinating their department's ADA grievance process in accordance with Miami-Dade County grievance policy and promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities in all departmental programs and services. |
