The Office of ADA Coordination has a staff of nine professionals organized into a Compliance / Awareness section and a Design section.
Except for providing information, the Office of ADA Coordination does not provide direct services to the public. Disability Services and Independent Living (DSAIL) provides information and referral and other direct services to persons with disabilities. All County departments include services to persons with disabilities as an integral part of their programs and services.
Issues regarding County Employment, including recruitment, job information, the application process, testing, referral, interviews, and reasonable accommodation are the responsibility of the County’s Employee Relations Department.
Employment discrimination complaints are handled by the Office of Fair Employment Practices.
