The Office of Community Advocacy presents "Art Miami-Dade" for the purpose of showcasing the rich and diverse culture of Miami-Dade County. We aspire to promote local Artists during a time when a sophisticated international crowd of galleries, artists, and collectors converge upon Miami-Dade County.
The possibilities of opportunities are endless for Artists interested in looking to build their rapport and expand in the Art industry. This exhibit will serve as a meeting point for participating artist to network, promote, and sell their Art. Be apart and join the team as we support you in opening a gateaway to limitless exposure while promoting Art through the "Art Miami-Dade" Exhibit.

Report on Miami-Dade Police Department's Immigration and Immigrant Communities Procedures
MDPD reviewed its practices and procedures and recently implemented a new policy to guide and direct officers with regard to immigration and immigrant communities. Since implementing the policy, the Department received additional input from organizations and concerned individuals around the County, and consquently drafted revisions to MDPD's Departmental Manual Chapter 21 - Part 4 - Undocumented Persons. The revisions to the policy preserve the separation of duties between MDPD officers and federal immigration officers, and confirm that MDPD officers are not performing federal immigration duties.

Facts About Human Trafficking
Mr. Francesco Duberli, founder and Chief Executive of Survivor’s Pathway, specializes on developing awareness about the challenges, needs, and barriers faced by the immigrant Latino community and the LGBTQI communities living in the United States and more specifically, Miami-Dade County. Special emphasis has been given to the analysis and development of cultural and gender oriented interventions to prevent different types of violence experienced by these communities such as intimate partner violence, domestic violence, sexual abuse, human trafficking, and other violent crimes. In this interview, Mr. Duberli goes into an in depth description of the cause and effects of human trafficking.
Miami-Dade County Coordinated Response Team
Coordinated Response Team (MDC-CRT) is a network of agencies, community centers and faith-based organizations that can provide individuals who have experienced crime, violence or a traumatic event with a range of legal, medical, mental health and other support services to help them get back on their feet.
