(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Miami-Dade County residents and visitors are encouraged to take part in a number of exciting events to celebrate Black History Month in February. The Miami-Dade County Black Affairs Advisory Board's Heritage Planning Committee along with various community based organizations have scheduled a number of events that pay homage to this year's national theme: "At the Crossroads of Freedom and Equality: The Emancipation Proclamation & the March on Washington."
