The Miami-Dade County Youth Training and Employment program is part of Mayor Carlos A. Giménez’s Miami-Dade Education Partnership. The program, a partnership with South Florida Workforce, provides jobs, work-readiness skills, and an opportunity to earn a paycheck for low-income youths ages 18 to 21. > more

South Florida Workforce Investment Board's "Ready To Work - Employment Program"

South Florida Workforce Investment Board’s (SFWIB) Ready to Work –Employment Program provides young adults from low-income families with the opportunity to enhance their work-readiness skills while also earning income. The program will provide 500 participants with entry-level positions within governmental agencies, local businesses, and community-based non-profit organizations. Program selection will be done by lottery for candidates who have met all program requirements. > more

Psychology Internship Program

The Internship Program at the Psychological Services Division offers a full-time pre-doctoral internship in clinical psychology.  It provides an organized training experience in clinical psychology to pre-doctoral level interns, and equips them with the necessary clinical skills and competencies to successfully perform the role of professional psychologist at the entry level with children and their families. > more
