Miami-Dade Youth Training & Employment Program
The Miami-Dade County Youth Training and Employment program is part of Mayor Carlos A. Giménez’s Miami-Dade Education Partnership. The program, a partnership with South Florida Workforce, provides jobs, work-readiness skills, and an opportunity to earn a paycheck for low-income youths ages 18 to 21.

The Phoenix Program: a Talent Pipeline for Workers with Disabilities was created by the Office of Human Rights and Fair Employment Practices to ensure the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the County's diversity and fair employment initiatives.

If you are an undergraduate or graduate student and enjoy community recreation, kid's camps, aquatics, disability sports, inclusion and the out-of-doors, then an internship with the Parks, Recreation & Open Spaces department’s Disability Services might be a good fit for you.
South Florida Workforce Investment Board's "Ready To Work - Employment Program"
South Florida Workforce Investment Board’s (SFWIB) Ready to Work –Employment Program provides young adults from low-income families with the opportunity to enhance their work-readiness skills while also earning income. The program will provide 500 participants with entry-level positions within governmental agencies, local businesses, and community-based non-profit organizations. Program selection will be done by lottery for candidates who have met all program requirements.
