    Adoption Requirements
    • Copy of Driver’s License valid Florida picture ID of adopting party
    • Adopting party must be 18 years of age or older
    • If adopting a pet not yet spayed/neutered, adopting party must sign a spay/neuter agreement to return and conduct surgery
    • $50.00 Spay/Neuter deposit if pet not yet sterilized. 
    • If adopting a pet with a medical condition, adopting party must sign a medical release

    Did You Know?

    To make it easy for people who are not able to come to the shelter to adopt, Animal Services hosts pet adoptions at offsite locations and provides important information about the shelter’s programs, services and events. If you would like to schedule an adoption event at your facility call 305-805-1778 to speak to the Outreach Coordinator.
