Spay or Neuter Your Cat
Miami-Dade County Animal Services Department in partnership with the Southeast Florida Spay/Neuter Coalition will offer low cost spay/neuter services for cats, Tuesday, February 19th to Saturday, February 23rd, 2013 at the Animal Services Shelter, located at 7401 NW 74 Street, Miami, FL 33166.
Miami-Dade County residents are encouraged to spay or neuter their cats for only $15, which includes sterilization surgery, rabies vaccine and FVRPC vaccine. Proof of residency in Miami-Dade County required. Cats must be 3 month/3 lbs. Feral kittens will be taken as early as 8 weeks of age. Maximum of 4 cats per household. By appointment only. Please call 311 to make your reservation, spaces are limited.
Please note that in order to accommodate this wonderful joint initiative, we have canceled dog spay/neuter surgeries for Tuesday, Feb. 19 and Wednesday, Feb. 20. Cat surgeries for Thursday and Friday will be by appointment only as part of the Beat the Heat Program, walk-ins will not be guaranteed.
All members of the Southeast Florida Spay/Neuter Coalition will be offering $15 sterilizations for cats during Beat the Heat. Please contact the following organizations for their available dates, restrictions and requirements.
