Free Spay/Neuter Day for Cats and Dogs

Sponsored by Commissioner Dennis C. Moss and Miami-Dade Animal Services


Miami-Dade County Animal Services Department in partnership with Commissioner Dennis C. Moss, the Humane Society of Greater Miami and The Cat Network will offer free spay/neuter surgeries for dogs and cats, Sunday on April 14th, 2013 at the South Clinic located at 10700 SW 211 Street, Miami, FL 33189.

Miami-Dade County residents are encouraged to spay or neuter their dogs and cats, free of charge at the next spay-a-thon. Services include sterilization, rabies vaccine (for pets over 4 months of age not currently vaccinated) and FVRPC (cats) or DHPP (dogs) vaccines. Microchip available for $10. Proof of residency in Miami-Dade County required. Cats must be 3 lbs. Feral kittens will be accepted as early as 8 weeks of age/2 lbs. Dogs must be 2 month of age or older. By appointment only. Please call 311 to make your reservation, spaces are limited. We reserve the right to decline surgery on animals for medical reasons.

Each year, Animal Services receives over 30,000 pets. It is our goal to find loving homes for these shelter pets and to reunite them with their families. To adopt a pet, become a foster parent or a volunteer, please visit www.miamidade.gov/animals or call 3-1-1.
