Miami-Dade County Animal Services in Collaboration with Macy's Host Shop for a Cause Pet Adoption Event
Miami-Dade County Animal Services and Macy’s will host a special pet adoption event in an effort to take a critical step forward in adoption animals in summer when the shelter is most full. The event is taking place at Macy’s South Beach store on Saturday, August 24th, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Macy’s annual “Shop For A Cause” supports local and national organizations, empowering stores and customers with an opportunity to give back to those organizations that touch their hearts each and every day. The event will showcase dogs and cats available for adoption. The goals are to strengthen and change lives of shelter pets through the power of adoption. We encourage all members of the community wishing to adopt a new best friend to be a part of this fun and exciting event. All adoption fees will be ½ off.
Building on a more than 150-year tradition, and with the collective support of customers, employees and Macy’s Foundation, Macy’s helps strengthen communities by supporting local and national charities giving more than $70 million each year to help make a difference in the lives of our customers and community.
