Miami-Dade County Animal Services is waiving adoption fees for all dogs over 35 pounds on January 17-19

Miami, FL – Miami-Dade County Animal Services is waiving adoption fees for large dogs over 35 lbs. during the “Save Big, Love Big” large dog adoption weekend, from Friday, January 17 through Sunday, January 19, 2014, at the shelter. All large beautiful, lovable dogs come spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and ready to go to a forever home.

Free adoptions for large dogs will also be available on Saturday, January, 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Tropical Park, 7900 Bird Road, Miami.

''Large dogs make great pets, they keep you active and are devoted and grateful companions," said Commissioner Javier D. Souto, District 10. ''If you are looking for a great pet, this is a good opportunity to adopt a large dog at no cost.''
