Miami-Dade County Animal Services teams up once again with the Gold Coast Railroad Museum for a day of reduced fee pet adoptions

Start February on the right track by adopting a shelter dog


(Miami, January, 27 2014) – In an effort to help reduce the number of homeless pets, Miami-Dade County Animal Services and the Gold Coast Rail Road Museum will hold a dog adoption event on Saturday, February 1, 2014, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum, located at 12450 SW 152nd Street, in Miami.
 
The Gold Coast Railroad Museum will offer FREE admissions on the day of the event. All dog adoptions will be 50 per cent off.

Photo opportunities using the backdrop of historic trains will also be made available for each dog adoption. Several activities will be available, for an additional cost, including trains rides, tours, arts & crafts, bounce houses and food trucks.

The event helps shed light on the tireless efforts and commitment of Miami-Dade County Animal Services Department and local rescues organizations to save the lives of countless dogs and cats every day.
