Animal Traps

Dog Traps
Dog traps are delivered free of charge by the Animal Services Department (ASD) when an animal control officer is unable to capture a stray dog. Residents who need a trapped dog to be picked up can call 3-1-1.

Cat Traps
Cat traps can be rented from Animal Services and must be picked up and set up by the resident. However, Animal Services will not pick up cats in traps. Residents must take the trapped cat to the Animal Services shelter.

There is a required $50.00 refundable deposit that must be paid (cash, credit card or check accepted). Cat traps must be returned within 10 days for customers to get their $50 deposit back. Customers who do not do so will forfeit the deposit.
