Teo We adopted Teo last year around May. All I can say is that he is our joy and we love him so much! He puts a smile in our face, he makes our life so much easier. Teo is a very happy dog and we kiss him and hug him all the time. Now we are adopting again, another Yorkie. Thanks for all the work and the time you put into this mission! Sincerely,

Spotty
My name is Oselia Espinal. My husband Julio and I adopted our dog, Spot, we call him Spotty, on February 2006 for Valentine's day. He is a mix, black and white dog, English Pointer and German shepherd. We wanted a medium size dog, we wanted a dog, we did not have any kind of dog in mind, I just wanted a companion, we didn't know God was sending an angel and a great dog to be part of our family!
I was very sad and depressed because of my sister's mental health problems and my husband wanted for me to have a dog to love and take care of and what a blessing he has been! When the lady brought him out, he was our third choice in our list, the two first ones were adopted and I was thinking we will end up with nothing, but he was the one! He immediately put his head on my chest and rested there until he got home! He is now 2 years old and he is a great dog! Friendly, lovable, likes to play all the time, likes to run, enjoys walking with us every day, loves the beach and loves to ride in the car! We talk to him in English and Spanish, and he obeys the commands in each language! Also, he loves our backyard, since he came to our house, the first thing he did was play on the grass!

I was in search for a Beagle for a long time. My family goes on a trips every year and luckily this year our New Family Member, "Chance", will be coming with us. My family and I want to thank the Miami-Dade Animal Shelter for helping us find our loving dog. I picked up Chance on Mothers Day and it was the best gift ever. He is so loyal and well behaved!! I urge anyone that wants a dog to go and give the shelter a visit. Give these animals a second "CHANCE" and adopt one today.
