Happy Tails

Casper

My wife and I rescued Casper on July 22nd, 2008.  We wanted our beagle, Sisi, to have a companion so she won't get bored during the day when we're not around.  And so we found Casper. We feel truly fortunate for having found Casper.  Our two dogs are now inseparable and an essential part of our family.  More importantly, we learned that these dogs deserve a second chance and that it is extemely rewarding to be able to give them this opportunity.  We made the decision that all our future dogs will be from a shelter.  It only makes sense.

Jorge

Sparky

Greetings,

When we decided that Frasier (on the right) needed a playmate we immediately decided on a shelter dog.  We searched petharbor.com daily until we saw who we wanted.  Although known as Scruffy on the shelter site, we named him Sparky and introduced him to Frasier.  This was back on August 28, 2008 and they have been inseparable since!

He lives up to his name, Sparky, as his personality and joy of living sparkle at all times.  He is sweet, caring, playful and loves to roll over and have his stomach scratched

Best wishes,
Mickey, Gigi, Callahan, Frasier and Sparky.

Céu

Céu

Céu

Greetings,

We adopted Céu in October of 2008. Her name means Sky in Portuguese. Céu is a mixed Shar-pei and she is 3 months old.

Since Céu arrived to our home she has become the center of attention. She sleeps on the sofa and our bed and has a million toys. She gets along really well with her half brother, a 3 year old guinea pig.

Céu is brave, intelligent and sweet. We are extremely happy we adopted her and we encourage others to adopt as well. She has bright eyes and we consider her the most handsome dog in our neighborhood (hehehe you can tell we are very proud parents).

I hope you like her pictures.

Best wishes,
Andrea Nieto and Fulvio Rottigni
