Jett About a month ago I adopted a dog through a local rescue and when I was going through his paperwork I found that he was a stray that had been 'picked up' by the Miami Dade Animal Service Department back in August. From what was in the documents it sounds like 'Blackberry' a. k. a. Jett, (his foster mother changed his name) was kind of scrawny and sickly, but you did a wonderful job nursing him back to health. Since I adopted Jett (now 11 months old) he has gained another 10 lbs and the vet says he's in excellent health. He's also very curious and energetic, even though he's still a little shy. We go running twice a day and we visit local hiking trails on weekends. A friend of mine told me about a local dog club that has an obedience/agility course setup and we're going to go visit them next weekend. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, |

Céu Greetings, We adopted Céu in October of 2008. Her name means Sky in Portuguese. Céu is a mixed Shar-pei and she is 3 months old. Since Céu arrived to our home she has become the center of attention. She sleeps on the sofa and our bed and has a million toys. She gets along really well with her half brother, a 3 year old guinea pig. Céu is brave, intelligent and sweet. We are extremely happy we adopted her and we encourage others to adopt as well. She has bright eyes and we consider her the most handsome dog in our neighborhood (hehehe you can tell we are very proud parents). I hope you like her pictures.
