Pet Receiving Closed Friday October 26th and Saturday October 27th
In preparation for the 24 Hour Mega Pet Adoption Event on Saturday, October 27th, Miami-Dade County Animal Services will be temporarily closing pet receiving on Friday, October 26th and Saturday, October 27th. We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause and apologize for the brief suspension of services. Regular services will resume Sunday, October 28th.

Each year, the Miami-Dade Animal Services shelter receives approximately 30,000 abandoned and homeless pets. The goal at Animal Services is to reunite lost pets with their families or find life-long homes for as many pets as possible. For more information, visit Miami-Dade Animals or call 3-1-1.
