Miami-Dade County Animal Services and Commissioner Javier D. Souto, District 10, will host pet adoptions at the 7th annual Miami International Agriculture, Horse & Cattle Show Saturday April 12, 2014, and Sunday, April 13, 2014, in Tropical Park


(Miami, April 9, 2014) – As part of the commitment to save the lives of the abandoned animals in its care, Miami-Dade County Animal Services (ASD) and Commissioner Javier D. Souto, District 10, will offer 50 percent off pet adoptions during the 7th Annual Miami International Agriculture, Horse & Cattle Show on Saturday April 12, 2014, and Sunday April 13, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Ronald Reagan Equestrian Center in Tropical Park, located at 7900 SW 40th Street, Miami FL.

Adoption fees for dogs over 35 lbs. will be waived and adopters will only be responsible for a $27.00 license fee.  All pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and ready to go to forever homes.

“I am very happy to offer pet adoptions during the Miami International Agriculture, Horse & Cattle Show,” said Commissioner Souto. “This is a great opportunity for animal lovers to save the life of a pet and go home with new family member.”

ASD is committed to saving the lives of the abandoned animals in its care and establish Miami-Dade County as a No Kill community by implementing community outreach programs like pet adoption events that help save the lives of shelter pets.
