Catch the pet adoption fee "waives" offered by Miami-Dade County Animal Services at the City of Miami Beach's "Dog Day at the Beach" event Saturday, May 10, 2014
(MIAMI, May 7, 2014) – Miami-Dade County Animal Services will join the City of Miami Beach’s “Dog Day at the Beach” event to offer waived fees for pet adoptions on dogs over 4 months old, on Saturday, May 10, 2014, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the North Shore Open Space Park Beach, on Collins Avenue between 80th and 81st Streets.
Pet adoptions include free spay/neuter, rabies vaccinations, deworming and microchipping. Dogs over 6 months are also tested for heartworm.
“Dogs love to play in the sand and make great companions when going for a run on the beach. We’ll be there to offer folks an opportunity to get a canine beach buddy if they don’t already have one or, add another one to the fun,” said Alex Muñoz, Director of Miami-Dade County animal Services.
