Free cat and kitten adoptions at AD "Doug" Park Saturday, May 10, 2014. Miami-Dade County Animal Services and Miami-Dade Parks team up to offer free feline pet adoptions just in time for Mother's Day

(MIAMI, May 9, 2014) – Miami-Dade County Animal Services in collaboration with the Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department will hold a fee waived cat and kitten adoption event on Saturday, May 10, from 12:00 p.m. to 4 p.m., at AD (Doug) Barnes Park, 3401 SW 72 Avenue, Miami, FL.

Sometimes the best things in life are free.  A cute cat or kitten can make a perfect gift for a pet loving mom, and since it’s free, you can add some accessories for both mom and her new kitty.

Pet adoptions include free spay/neuter, rabies vaccinations, deworming and microchipping. Cats will be tested for FIV and FeLV.
