Miami-Dade County Animal Services and The Humane Society of Greater Miami will celebrate our nations independence by offering reduced pet adoption fees throughout the month of July
The "Paws for July- Red, White, and Woof Celebration" special begins Tuesday, July 1, 2014
(Miami, June 30, 2014) – As part of the ASPCA® community joint partnership Miami-Dade County Animal Services (Animal Services) and the Humane Society of Greater Miami and will celebrate our nation's independence during the whole month of July by offering “Red, White and Woof” reduced pet adoption specials during the month of July. The Cat Network will join in the celebration at regular adoption fees.
Animal Services’ Red, White and Woof specials offer 50 percent off pet adoptions as well as waived fees for dogs over 35 lbs.* and cats over 4 months old at the shelter location, located at 7401 NW 74th Street, Miami, FL 33166. The special July rates will also apply at all Animal Services Community pet adoption events.
The July Red, White and Woof special adoptions fees at Animal Services can be identified by the color of the stars placed on the pets’ information cards as follows:
• Red – 50 percent off adoption fees
• White – Waived adoption fees for cats over 4 months old.
• Blue (Woof) – Waived adoption fees for dogs over 35 lbs. or over 5-years old.*
Pet adoptions include spaying/neutering, deworming, age appropriate vaccinations, and microchip.
*Adoption fees for dogs over 35 lbs. will continue to be waived until August 31, 2014. Adopters will be responsible for a $27 license fee.
The Humane Society of Greater Miami (HSGM), located at 16101 West Dixie Highway, North Miami Beach, FL 33160 will also offer Red, White and Blue Special adoption rates in July. The rates at the Humane Society, also color coded are as follows:
• Red – 50 percent off
• White – 10 percent off
• Blue – Adoption fees waivedf
