In honor of our veterans and to commemorate Veterans Day Miami-Dade County Animal Services will offer low-cost and free pet adoptions from Nov. 8 - 10

Adoption fees are waived for veterans

(MIAMI, Nov. 6, 2014) – In honor of our veterans and to commemorate Veterans Day, Miami-Dade County Animal Services (Animal Services) will offer 50 percent off on all pet adoption fees from Saturday, November 8 through Monday, November 10, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Adoption fees are waived for veterans during this time.

All pets adopted are spayed or neutered, given age-appropriate routine vaccinations, dewormed and micro chipped which adds up to a big savings.

Please note: In observance of Veterans Day, Tuesday November 11, 2014, Animal Services will be closed.

Every year Miami-Dade County Animal Services Department (Animal Services) provides care and refuge for over 27,000 unwanted dogs and cats. Every day, Animal Services staff and volunteers work diligently to find life-long homes for these abandoned animals by facilitating onsite adoptions, hosting off-site adoptions at events and locations throughout the community, and working collaboratively with over 70 rescue organizations who share in our goal of a No Kill Miami-Dade County.
