(MIAMI, Nov. 26) - Miami-Dade County Animal Services (Animal Services) is offering 50 percent off adoption fees from Dec. 1 through Dec. 31, at the shelter which is located at 7401 NW 74th Street, Medley FL as well as at all off-site pet adoption events.

“For anyone who has been considering adopting a pet, the Holidays are a perfect time. The price is right and people will be spending more time at home with their families, giving them more time to bond with their new furry family member,” said Alex Muñoz, Director of Animal Services.

Adoption hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Visit www.miamidade.gov/animals/calendar.asp for off-site adoption events and locations.

All pets over 4 months old are spayed or neutered, given age appropriate routine vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped.

Adoption fees for puppies and kittens under 4 months old include de-worming, puppy tags, FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) tests for cats, first set of vaccines and microchip.
