    How do I apply for unemployment?

    You may apply on-line at http://www.floridajobs.org/unemployment/uc_emp_claims.html.This will take you to the application screen to apply for the benefits. If you have any questions concerning your unemployment benefits, you also can call 1-800-204-2418. You will not receive your first check until several weeks after you have submitted your claim.
