Often, when people are in trouble, their use of long distance phone service increases substantially. Be aware of the cost of long distance service and use it responsibly.

ASSIST is Florida Power and Light’s low income energy assistance program for families whose electrical cost is rising and whose income is low.  To qualify, contact the ASSIST coordinator at the FPL branch near you.
