Estephanie Resnik handles transactional issues and litigation in the social services and economic development area, representing various County departments and boards, including but not limited to the Juvenile Services Department, Community Action and Human Services Department, Office of Management and Budget grants coordination division, and Homeless Trust. Her transactional practice includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, handling real estate transactions, and providing legal advice on a wide range of issues concerning regulatory compliance at the federal, state and local level. She also represents the County in administrative hearings, court cases and appeals, as well as drafts and advises the Board of County Commissioners on legislative items including ordinances and resolutions.
Additionally, Estephanie represents the County in employee disciplinary cases before hearing examiners and arbitrators.
Estephanie received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Florida, where she was an Associate Editor of the Law Review and participated in a mentoring program for elementry school students. She received her B.S. in Communications, summa cum laude, from the University of Miami.
