Alternative medical plans for county employees not eligible to participate in county-sponsored benefits

The County is sensitive to the fact that many of our non-eligible employees are not aware of companies in the community that provide affordable healthcare to individuals. As a convenience, the County has posted links to Care Access Health Plan, Florida Health Solution, Preferred Medical Plan, and ProMedical Plan PHC; four companies currently licensed by the state of Florida to provide pre-paid health clinic plans. Also listed is AvMed Individual Health, an individual health product that is not a clinic model.

We have also included contact information for all plans.  Please direct all inquires including those pertaining to eligibility, benefits, costs and enrollment directly to the plan(s) of interest to you at the numbers provided. Once again, this information is being provided as a convenience to you. The benefits are not administered by the County.
