Flexible Benefits

Miami-Dade County strives to provide competitive employee benefits. The following employees may participate in Group Medical, Group Dental, Group Life, Group Vision, Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Income Protection, Flex Dollars and Group Legal:

  • Flexible Benefits
  • Full-time regular Miami-Dade County employees who have completed 90 days of service and
  • Part-time employees who work at least 60 hours bi-weekly and have completed 90 days of active continuous service.

All employees are eligible immediately to participate in the Deferred Compensation Plan. There is no waiting period.
