Angel Petisco, Interim Director

Angel Petisco serves as the Interim Director in the Enterprise Technology Service Department of Miami-Dade County, a diversified data processing and communications organization serving one of the largest metropolitan county governments in the nation.

Mr. Petisco began his technology career in 1976 with Southeast banking and concluded his tenure as an operations manager overseeing the data center operations.  In July of 1979, Angel joined the Miami-Dade County family in a similar capacity.  During his twenty-nine year tenure with Miami Dade County, he has had a growing number of diverse and increased levels of responsibilities covering virtually all aspects of information technology.  Most memorable, was the creation of what is known today as MetroNet, the county's enterprise internal network.  During his tenure he has worked relentlessly to improve overall services, reduce operational and capital costs while increasing service delivery.

Mr. Petisco is an alumnus of Thomas Edison State College in Trenton New Jersey, where he has returned to finalize his Bachelors degree in Science and Business Administration.
