Miami-Dade County Validation Process for State Approval

Procedures for validation in the State’s revised Product Approval Rule 9N-3 have been implemented that require all submittals to the BCIS, including certification method to be validated.

Miami Dade County Product Control Section is providing validation service to those manufacturers opting to list their NOAs with the State of Florida. Please note that a processing charge will apply for providing this service. The following method will be used after receipt of a notification from the BCIS system that Miami-Dade County has been chosen as your Validation Entity for a given FL application.

Miami-Dade County Product Control Section will e-mail the applicant outlining the service and explaining that a processing charge of $75 per hour with a minimum charge of $300 applies. The applicant will be asked to fill out a credit card authorization form to allow the processing of the $300 charge.

Miami-Dade County Product Control Section will confirm validation or request corrections via e-mail to the applicant.
