The Unsafe Structures Board is quasi-judicial advisory committee, which reviews the decision of Building Officials regarding buildings considered unsafe.
The Unsafe Structures Board meets generally once a month to hear cases submitted by the Building Officials or through appeals requested by homeowners or other interested parties. The Building Code Compliance Office advertises the hearing and issues the notifications of the hearing to all interested parties on the scheduled cases.
