UF/IFAS Miami-Dade Extension to host Spring 2014 Ornamental Plant Disease Update & Management workshop

(MIAMI, February 28, 2014) – The Miami-Dade Cooperative Extension Division and UF/IFAS Tropical Research and Education (TREC) Plant Clinic are hosting a Spring 2014 Ornamental Plant Disease and Management Workshop.  Nursery growers, landscapers and interested individuals will be updated on the latest and best management practices for tackling current ornamental fungal and bacterial plant diseases along with identifying those newly developing ones for this season.

The workshop will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 8:45 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at the UF/IFAS Tropical Research and Education Center (TREC) located at 18905 S.W. 280 Street - Homestead, FL 33031.

Refreshments and CEUs will be provided for your pesticide license renewal.
