Extension to host a free presentation: "What is the Master Gardener Program"


(MIAMI, March 21, 2014) – The Miami-Dade Cooperative Extension in partnership with the University of Florida/IFAS is hosting a free introduction to the Master Gardener Volunteer program on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Palmetto Bay Library at 17641 Old Cutler Road in Palmetto Bay, Florida.

Are you looking to gain more in-depth knowledge about gardening and how to better care for your yard then the opportunity has arrived?  UF/Miami-Dade County Extension volunteer Master Gardener Kurt Klaus will explain what the Master Gardener program is about, what you’ll learn in the course, and the volunteer opportunities available through the UF/Miami-Dade County Extension office. This event is sponsored by the Palmetto Bay Garden Club.
