UF/IFAS Miami-Dade County Extension to host lychee, longan, atemoya, sugar apple and carambola pests workshop


(MIAMI, April 7, 2014) – With over 12,000 acres of tropical fruit in production, tropical fruit is a valuable economic resource for the state of Florida. This workshop will cover the tropical fruit pests associated with Lychee, Longan, Atemoya, Sugar Apple and Carambola Pests Workshop.

Two Pesticide CEUs will be awarded at the completion of the workshop in either “private applicator” or “ag tree crop”.

Registration is $12 online, and $15 at the door. There will be organic coffee and a light breakfast.
