Miami-Dade County Cooperative Extension to host a workshop in Spanish: Herbicides and how they work. Is Roundup a pesticide?


(MIAMI, July 3, 2014) – The Miami-Dade County Cooperative Extension is hosting a workshop in Spanish to update nursery growers, landscapers, horticultural consultants, and interested individuals about use of herbicides, safety guidelines when dealing with herbicides, and how to interpret the pesticide labels.

The workshop will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014, from 8:45 a.m. to 12:00 Noon (12:00 pm) at the Miami-Dade County Cooperative Extension auditorium, located in Homestead, Florida. Refreshments and Continuing Educational Units (CEUs) will be provided for the pesticide applicator license holders.
