Miami-Dade County Residents - Become a Master Gardener Volunteer for Miami-Dade County Extension

(MIAMI, July 25, 2014) – Miami-Dade County’s Cooperative Extension in partnership with the University of Florida/IFAS is hosting two (2) preview Master Gardener Volunteer Program sessions for Miami-Dade County residents ONLY on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 3:00 PM and Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the County’s Extension Office located at 18710 SW 288 Street in Homestead, Florida.

Do you have spare time to volunteer? Do you like plants and want to learn more about gardening? Do you like to help others by sharing your gardening knowledge? Become a Master Gardener volunteer for Miami-Dade County Extension! Join this elite group of dedicated gardeners who help others solve their plant problems.

No registration is needed.  Each preview session will cover what the Master Gardener program is about, when the classes will be taught, the requirements to become a certified Master Gardener, volunteering opportunities, and we’ll briefly interview you afterwards.
