The purpose of this class is to update growers and allied partners on the latest and best management practices for tackling whiteflies that damage ornamental plants in South Florida.

Two ornamental entomologists will address the whitefly identification process, chemical and biological control strategies, and resistance issues.
In addition, participants will learn how to sample correctly for whiteflies to deliver an accurate identification of this pest.

The cost to attend the workshop is $16.00 and includes morning refreshments and lunch.   Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) will also be offered for attending.  Click here to register online or download a registration form by visiting the Miami-Dade Cooperative Extension website.
