Learn how to collect your money after winning in Small Claims Court

(MIAMI, November 15, 2012) – The Miami-Dade County Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources (RER), Division of Business Affairs, is hosting a special workshop to educate consumers on how to collect on a judgment. The FREE event will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Headquarter Training Facility, 9300 NW 41 Street in Doral, Florida. 

While most consumers know they can go to court and sue someone to right a wrong, often they aren’t aware of the steps to take to collect the money they were awarded. Consumer Advocate Leonard Elias will provide practical advice and a detailed explanation of the process.
