Miami-Dade County to provide temporary limousine licenses

(MIAMI, November 30, 2012) – In an effort to accommodate the thousands of travelers visiting our city for the annual Art Basel Miami Beach event, Miami-Dade County’s For-Hire Transportation will be issuing temporary limousine permits. 

Art Basel Miami Beach is expected to attract more than 40,000 domestic and international visitors. To ensure that there is sufficient transportation services available to meet the needs of the event; Miami-Dade County has developed rules and regulations to facilitate temporary licensing.  The licenses will be issued to existing Miami-Dade license holders who desire to add vehicles to their fleet during the event scheduled for November 28, 2012 through December 12, 2012.
