Small Business Development to host End of Year Debt Collection Workshop

(MIAMI, November 28, 2012) - Do you have old debts sitting on your books?  Do you have customers that owe you money? Would you like to learn how to collect on old debts?  Then don’t miss out on an upcoming workshop hosted by Miami-Dade County’s Small Business Development.

Small Business Development (SBD), under the Business Affairs Division of the Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources (RER) will host a FREE End of Year Debt Collection Workshop on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Stephen P. Clark Center, 19th Floor Conference Room in Downtown, Miami.

The workshop will offer practical advice for small businesses and will focus on proven strategies for collecting on your accounts receivables.  Topics to be discussed include the following:

• Why does billing regularly reduce your exposure to delinquent accounts?
• How can you secure the debt before and even after the debt was incurred?
