Miami-Dade County to provide Temporary Limousine Licenses

(MIAMI, December 24, 2012) – In an effort to accommodate the thousands of travelers visiting our city for the 2013 Discover Orange Bowl and the 2013 Discover BSC National Championship Game, Miami-Dade County’s For-Hire Transportation will be issuing temporary limousine permits. 

The Orange Bowl Committee requested the issuance of temporary limousine permits to ensure both events meet the transportation needs of the thousands of attendees.   Consequently, temporary licenses will be issued to existing Miami-Dade license holders who desire to add vehicles to their fleet for these events.  Once issued, the temporary licenses will be valid for the period of December 27, 2012 through January 10, 2013.
