Learn how to use native plants to attract butterflies

Extension Master Gardeners to host a free Native Plant Class


(MIAMI, January 15, 2013) – The Miami-Dade Cooperative Extension Master Gardener volunteers are hosting a free native plant workshop on Saturday, January 26, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the North Dade Regional Library, 2455 NW 183rd Street located at Miami Gardens, Florida.

Learn which native plants grow well in south Florida landscapes, and which plants attract butterflies and birds. Enhance the beauty of your yard and benefit the environment by planting natives. It's easier than you think!

No registration is necessary.

The class is taught by University of Florida/Miami-Dade County Extension Master Gardener volunteers Patty Harris and Lauren McFarland.
