Learn how to garden with native plants

Extension Master Gardeners to host free Native Plant Class


(MIAMI, February 8, 2013) – The Miami-Dade Cooperative Extension Master Gardener volunteers are hosting a free native plant workshop on Saturday, March 9, 2013, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the UF/IFAS Miami-Dade County Extension office, 18710 SW 288th Street located at Homestead, Florida.

Learn which native plants grow well in south Florida landscapes, and which plants attract butterflies and birds. Enhance the beauty of your yard and benefit the environment by planting natives. It's easier than you think!

No registration is necessary.

The class is taught by University of Florida/Miami-Dade County Extension Master Gardener volunteers Patty Harris and Lauren McFarland.
